2012 PAR Vitality Walk

Walk the Vitality Walk to Enhance Lives with Every Step!
On Sunday, June 3, 2012 the Parkinson Association of the Rockies will host the 10th annual Vitality Walk! This year we are expanding the walk to include two sites: Wash Park in Denver and the Lehigh Park in Erie. Two sites, 2,000 steps and one unforgettable experience!
Our goal is to draw more than 1,000 walkers to promote community awareness about Parkinson’s disease and raise over $100,000 to support the services of the Parkinson Association of the Rockies. Participants will enjoy music, food and discover new products and services at the Resource Fair.
Walk the walk that connects communities and enhances lives. Walk the walk and let others know that we can do something about PD. Walk the Parkinson Association Vitality Walk.

Every step taken by someone with Parkinson’s shows their determination to live well with this disease. Every step taken by friends, families, neighbors and co-workers supports those individuals and families who are affected by Parkinson’s disease. Walk the Vitality Walk to enhance lives with every step.
Form a Team - All ages are welcome; and there is no maximum team size. Show your spirit with creative names, shirts, buttons and hats. For the first time, the team that shows the most team spirit will be recognized!
Support a Team - Contributions can be made in honor of one individual or the entire team. All contributions are tax-deductible; and every donation, in any amount, creates opportunities for individuals with Parkinson’s to live enriched lives!
Parkinson Association of the Rockies Enhancing Lives - Connecting Communities
Since its formation in 1981 the Parkinson Association of the Rockies has been a valuable resource to the Colorado community, providing direct services including support groups, in-home case assessment and an information hotline to individuals living with Parkinson’s, their families and the general community. Over the past 30 years, the Parkinson Association of the Rockies has provided tangible and innovative resources that have transformed the way individuals with Parkinson’s and their family skillfully live with this disease.
